I will warn you ahead of time the pictures that I will be posting in this post are so stinking cute I am not sure you will be able to handle it. :) Proceed further only if you feel you are prepared...but don't say I didn't warn you.
It all started at S.E.A.M. meeting a few weeks back. I brought a pair of trousers I had whipped up for Tripp for show and tell. Someone asked "are those quick change trousers" I said no they were actually a pattern for girls ruffle pants that I converted to boys. We were interrupted and I never has the chance to approach again with my question..."What are quick change trousers?" Early last week rolls around and I am getting my weekly dose of Soule Mama (ironically she was the guest of honor at our first S.E.A.M meeting) when I stumble onto her post about none other that quick change trousers. These Quick Change Trousers can be found in this book Handmade Beginnings by Anna Maria Horner. I ordered this book up straight away and it arrived on Friday!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!
This is what I came up with for T's first pair. Again, you have been warned...
I used Joel Dewberry Modern Meadow, Amy Butler Lotus Dots and Cloud 9 Organic Nature Walk
Look at those fesses covered in leaves...
So many thanks to Soule Mama and her post, without it I may have never know such love in trousers. I can also credit her with my new fascination for anything Anna Maria Horner. These trousers are reversible. Two pairs of pants in one...how could you possibly go wrong.
